Merge is an exclusive and private matchmaking service. Members are selected after an
extensive interview and investigation of personal information submitted for review.
Merge reserves the right to deny anyone these services. Merge offers a variety of
services. Not all individuals will qualify for the range of dating and matchmaking
services offered by the Merge. Those who apply for the services offered by the Merge
are accepted as a client only after we are satisfied that there is a reasonable probability
that the service can be effective. Even then there is no express or implied warranty that a
life partner can or will be found. Results will vary. Members understand that a suitable
date for him/her may not be located in close proximity to that member. As such
members understand that he/she may be required to travel some distance to meet the
prospective date. Should the member refuse to travel to meet the recommended date,
the member hereby agrees that Merge cannot be held responsible for that member's
failure to find a suitable date/partner. Based upon the experience of its past success,
Merge can only show you the way to find the life partner you are searching for.
Memberships start as of the effective date as set forth in each member’s written
membership agreement. After Merge provides members with contact information of
matches, members are solely responsible for following through and contacting those
matches, arranging dates and related logistical matters, such as transportation. Merge
is not responsible for arranging dates for members or for ensuring that members
proceed to a date. Therefore, Merge also does not guarantee results. Members are
responsible for following all rules and guidelines of the agency, this includes following
the Merge Code of Conduct. Should the member choose to not follow the rules and
guidelines of the agency, the member hereby agrees that Merge cannot be held
responsible for that member's failure to find a suitable date/partner.
Memberships are non-transferable between individuals. Memberships expire at the
end of the term as set forth in member’s written membership agreements, whether or
not they have used their membership and/or related services. Merge will not grant an
extension of memberships and/or related services under any circumstances. Merge
has a no refund policy. Deposits are non refundable. Photos that are sent to us via mail
are not returnable. Submitting a photo and application does NOT guarantee admittance
into the service, nor does it guarantee a match. Professional photos are encouraged.
